Who doesn’t love road trips, especially when it has beautiful pit stops and multiple options to eat.
There are 2 routes that you can take to Wayanad. The best part is their different pit stops that you do not wanna miss.
Via Bandipur National Park
Pit stops:
You can search for “Gundlupet Marigold Flower Farm” for the exact location. There are minimal charges from 40 to 50 INR for the entry fee. The entire area is indulged in marigold and sunflower flowers, giving you a vibrant vibe and your bollywood moment.
If you are taking this route, I would suggest taking a pitstop here.
The national park has the second highest tiger population in India. You can go for Jeep safaris to explore the park. Always pre book, else most of the time you won’t get slots, especially during the peak season.
Plan ahead in Monsoon season, because only 1 safari is generally operated, you would need to book early (~ 1 week before visiting)
Safari timings:
The slots and timings are very limited, in the early morning and in evening. Please check its official website for all the details. https://www.bandipurnationalpark.in/bandipur-national-park-safari.html
Camping:
You can also stay in their jungle resorts and campings, all well managed by the Government. You can book them via its website and confirm once before visiting there.

Try to avoid Monsoon season, as sometimes they close Safari and jungle lodges.
Safari timings:
The slots and timings are very limited, in the early morning and in evening. Bus and Jeep, both kinds of Safaris are available. Please check its official website for all the details.
Camping/Resort/Hotels:
There are Jungle lodges, but there are multiple options of resorts/hotels too nearby.
